The Proposed Project

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project. The storage systems for diesel and gasoline are reaching the end of their service life. The project involves replacing the current underground tanks with new above-ground tanks.


Latest update

January 16, 2026 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
