Mahikan Street Extension - Industrial Park Area

The project consists of the extension of Mahikan Street for 2,27 km and the construction of a retention pond (30,6 ha) to manage runoff from an intermittent stream. This pond will be of ecological importance, particularly for migratory bird habitats.

Québec - December 13, 2022. Indigenous Services Canada has determined that the proposed Mahikan street extension, located in Mashteuiatsh, is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
