Construction of a new snow dump at Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) - Public Comments Invited

Quebec Airport Authority must determine whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Quebec Airport Authority is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

Written comments must be submitted by March 31, 2022.

Work, scheduled for summer 2022, consists of moving/building a snow dump on the "city" side, a sedimentation basin and a retention basin necessary for the operational needs resulting from the development of Apron III for conditions projected for 2040.

The work site is located within the limits of YQB territory with access on the 8e Avenue de l'Aéroport.

Therefore, Quebec Airport Authority may carry out the project.
