Addition of a slab and repair of sheet piles at Pier 108

At the request of the moorers, adding a concrete slab on top of the wharf would eliminate the gaps between the sheet pile silos. This would allow operators to drive in a straight line and reach all the bollards, without having to go around empty spaces. In doing so, the operation and traffic safety at the edge of the quay will be considerably improved. Also, other structural corrections (such as the addition of plates in facades to correct declawed sheet piles) and operational (addition of ladders on the quayside, adjustment of the level of the bollards, replacement of obsolete wheel guards) will be made. The project also provides for the construction of a new outlet, which will be plugged, pending connection to the rainwater network which will be developed later. The project targets the entire length of quay 108, for a total of approximately 200m.
