Retaining Wall Refurbishment - Royal Military College Saint-Jean

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project which aims to remove the concrete retaining wall, between the Richelieu river and the Royal Military College Saint-Jean, that is broken, friable and no longer safe to replace it with sheet piling retaining wall that will secure the site, the banks and protect against flooding. The construction work will be done inside the site. No work in the water will be necessary. The site will then be returned to the same condition as before the work with a grassy surface.

Latest update
