Parking Lot Repaving at LCD Ajax, ON

This project will involve the rehabilitation and re-pavement of approximately 4,750 m² of the existing parking lot at the LCD Ajax ON facility. The existing parking surface is showing signs of wear and requires rehabilitation to maintain safe and efficient site operations. The work will include removal and replacement of existing asphalt pavement, proof-rolling, regrading, compaction of the exposed granular base. pavement markings, and associated site improvements. Construction staging will occur within the existing parking lot and will not extend beyond the current developed footprint. The project site is located within an existing urbanized and developed area. Vegetation removal is not required.  There are no surface water bodies located within 1km of the site.

September 10, 2026 – Canada Post intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Canada Post is inviting public comments until October 10, 2026 respecting that determination..
