Bearspaw Housing Demolition Project

Bearspaw First Nation is proposing to demolish 14 trailers, one house and one building that are in disrepair. The units are located in Mînî Thnî across from the community hockey arena. Several units are partially burned. Once the units are removed, the site will be cleared and graded for future construction.

All demolition waste will be disposed of at a licensed, off reserve landfill. A wildlife sweep will be completed prior to demolition. The project is not expected to impact any waterbodies, wetlands, or species at risk.
