Taza Park West Self Storage Facility

StoreWest is proposing to construct a self-storage facility at Tsuut'ina Nation. The proposed project will be located at Taza Park West near the intersection of Glenmore Trail and Tsuut'ina Trail. The proposed project will include the construction of a three story self-storage building with a footprint of  3,959 meters squared, loading bays, a nine stall parking lot, an access road, and a landscaped amenity area. The project will be built on a pre-graded site with utilities already installed. Project activities include re-grading, construction of the total precast concrete building, installation of subbase and asphalt, and landscaping. The project is not expected to impact any waterbodies, migratory birds, or species at risk.


Latest update

August 14, 2026 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments Taza Park West Self Storage Facility - Taza Park West Self Storage Facility: Public Comment Period on Intent to Make a Determination until September 13, 2026 respecting the determination.
