Sussex Armoury Boiler Replacement, 5th Canadian Division Support Base (CDSB) Gagetown

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project. The project involves replacing the existing oil-fired boiler plant at the Sussex Military Riding Hall with a new propane-fueled system. To facilitate this fuel conversion, the existing oil storage tank and associated underground piping will be drained, demolished, and removed from the site. A new propane storage tank will be installed on the existing concrete pad, and a new propane supply line and electrical cable tray for the propane vaporizer will be installed. This project aims to replace mechanical equipment that has reached the end of its service life, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and improve the boiler plant's operational efficiency.
