Hiawatha Roadway and Infrastructure Upgrades

This project includes the replacement of watermain, sanitary sewer and stormwater underneath Hiawatha Avenue, Hiawatha Crt, and Mahsos Crt, complete with full road reconstruction, curb, and gutter.  Project works are occurring within an existing municipal roadway corridor that is approximately 20m or more from an existing small stream.

Latest update

September 8 , 2026 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
