St. Mary's Subdivision Development Parcel C

Sitansisk is experience a housing shortage and have conducted a feasibility study examining potential properties suitable for future housing development. Sitansisk is proceeding with plans to construct a housing development for up to 30 lots on approximately 3 hectares of land.  Activities include clearing, grubbing, and grading of the development area, new roadways, ditches, water and wastewater services and stormwater ponds to manage storm water.  


Latest update

August 14, 2026 - Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments until September 13, 2026, respecting that determination.
