Upgrade Sanitary Line and Culvert, Trail in Argonaut - 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project which involves two culverts which are 1500 mm in diameter, and run under an existing embankment. Within the embankment is the main sanitary line, which is 600 mm in diameter, running to the Waste Water Treatment Plant. The eastern culvert is currently undermined and blocked with debris, and has contributed to the sanitary line being undermined as well, causing sections of the concrete pipe to separate and sag. A temporary fix has been implemented on the sanitary line to stabilize it, but a permanent fix is required. Work includes design then removal and replacement of damaged culverts and sanitary sewer line.

Latest update
