Dennis Boot Lake Base Camp - Hemlock Woolly Adelgid Treatment

The objective of this project is to set up two base camps in the backcountry near Dennis Boot Lake (Kejimkujik National Park & Historic Site) that will serve as the stationary location for project equipment such as pesticide 1L bottles (active ingredient: imadacloprid), cleaner, first aid kits, applicators, etc. as well as personal equipment such as tents, properly stored food, toiletries, etc. during the treatment of Hemlock Woolly Adelgid to protect ~1000 old growth Hemlock trees. The project is estimated to last approximately a month (September 15 - October 15 2022) and equipment and supplies will be transported by helicopter.
