Construction of a new inclusive, accessible and environmentally friendly marina facility.

The Proponent, Commissary Accessibility Marina Park Society (C.A.M.P.S.) intends to construct a new inclusive, accessible and environmentally friendly marina facility. The facility will offer a range of services, gender-neutral accessible washrooms, day use secure lockers, comfortable seating areas, wi-fi hotspot with audio visual connections. The facility will complement the existing waterfront amenities, aiming to create new year-round tourism opportunities and improve the overall visitor experience. ACOA is considering providing financial support for Phase 2 of the overall proposed project which will include initial construction of a building measuring approximately 126 square meters in size, with plans for an expanded building in the future. The proposed building will be constructed on grade and will be connected to water, sewage and electrical services. This phase of the project also includes the construction of a gravel parking lot.

The overall project was posted and assessed by Transport Canada in 2023, CIAR #84264.
