Parking Lot Expansion at RCMP H Division HQ

The RCMP H Division Headquarters parking lot is currently insufficient to meet the operational needs of the RCMP. The proposed project includes expansion in the northwest and northeast corners. The northwest corner expansion will create an additional 19 parking spaces and measure approximately 38m x 17m. This grassy area will require grading as it slopes north and west towards property boundaries. The northeast corner expansion will create an additional 72 parking spaces and measure approximately 53m x 38m. The area is undeveloped and will require minor tree clearing, perimeter fence relocation, and grading as elevation is irregular.

Notice of Intent to Make a Determination – Start of Public Comment Period

January 20, 2026 – Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, PSPC is inviting public comments until February 20, 2026 respecting that determination.
