Wharf Reconstruction at Caribou Ferry DFO-SCH, Nova Scotia

The proposed project involves the reconstruction of an existing finger pier wharf structure (Structure # 403) at Caribou Ferry DFO-SCH in Nova Scotia.  The project involves the demolition and removal of the existing finger pier wharf structure and the subsequent  construction of new pile work wharf structure 20 meters (m) north of its existing location, adjacent to the existing finger pier structure. The new wharf will result in a permanent footprint of approximately 540 square meters below the high-water mark. Work will be performed from the existing marginal wharf, a barge or the existing structure.
