The Proposed Project

The project includes the construction of a pre-fabricated mass timber structure, ventilated rainscreen wall system, and punched curtainwall windows. The building will be approximately 1744 m2 and will be built in a previously developed commercial area. Construction activities include construction of the building, grubbing and leveling of site, road and parking lot paving and lateral connections (water and waste water) into community services.

Latest update

January 15, 2024 - Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
