Replace Generator: Ammunition Storage Area – 5 CDSG Gagetown, NB

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project. The purpose of this project is to replace the existing generator with a new one as it has exceeded its typical life expectancy which could lead to multiple issues as well as be in non-compliance with modern codes. This includes the replacement of the generator and distribution infrastructure with a new 500 kW genset and enclosure.

September 29, 2026 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The authorities are considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
