Building Envelope Upgrade at Saint-Jérôme QC Post Office

Canada Post is proposing to replace the exterior brick at Saint-Jérôme QC Post Office, located in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec.  Project works will include site preparation, the replacement of exterior bricks, doors and windows, excavation and cutting of a section of the sidewalk, repaving and limited revegetation of grassed areas where required. The concrete block elements of the exterior building facades are considered to be heritage features. The scope of the project will include the removal, preservation and reinstatement of the concrete block elements, as well as the protection of trees along the main entrance of the building. An objective of this project is to improve the lack of insulation to the building envelope. Insulation will be added to improve building energy efficiency
