ATCO Gate Station (71274)

ATCO is proposing a line heater upgrade/replacement and natural gas regulator upgrades at the Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation Gate Station. The project will include ground disturbance as the scope includes installing structural piles, trenching of underground power cables, piping modification, and some civil touch-ups including gravel placement within the fenced area.


Latest update

July 3, 2026 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments until August 2, 2026 respecting that determination.
