Muskowekwan Solid Waste Transfer Station

The scope of the work for the Muskowekwan Solid Waste Transfer Station Project includes the pre-design, design, construction, and operation of a solid waste transfer station on NE 12-27-15 W2M located on Muskowekwan IR 85. 

The project consists of the construction of a solid waste transfer structure.  Permanent works include build up earthen ramp to support placement of refuse in containers.  Once full the containers are transported to a regional landfill.  Other permanent works will include a power service and a storage garage. No hazardous wastes will generated.  Minimal construction waste will be generated, of which will be stored in containers, and transported off site to a regional landfill.

January 18, 2021 - Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination https://iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluations/document/137728 and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
