Muscowpetung Powwow Arbour

The Proposed Project

The Powwow Arbour project is to construct a 1275 m2 structure which advances the following goals of the community: strengthen traditions, encourage community members to pass along knowledge to future generations, and to celebrate culture. The structure is designed to accommodate approximately 2500 people, including up to 1000 dancers that may attend each event.

The project requires power utility connection that is located adjacent to the site. Currently a Saskpower line runs along the East side of Highway 640. Providing convenient location for power connection. On-site portable toilet facilities for both the construction phase and future event are planned.
