Pheasant Rump Nakota Nation Solid Waste Transfer Station

Scope of work to include the planning, design, and construction of a new Solid Waste Transfer Station with dimensions of 110m by 130m for the Pheasant Rump Nakota Nation located on NW 19-08-05 W2M.. See the pre-design report and geotechnical investigation for more information.

The project activities are as follows:
- pre-design phase to prepare various design options and choose the most suitable option. 
- design phase to prepare detailed design drawings and tender package. 
- tender phase where the project is tendered and a contractor is selected. 
- construction phase to build the transfer station
- operations phase when the landfill is in use
- decommissioning phase to formally close the landfill

October 21, 2021 - Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination Notice of Determination for Pheasant Rump Nakota Nation Solid Waste Transfer Station - Canada.ca (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
