Whitecap Dakota First Nation Multi-Use Trails

The Whitecap Dakota First Nation is proposing the development of a community wide trail system. The project will include the construction of approximately 2,700 m of multi-use and recreational trail connecting the community to residential subdivisions, commercial and resort areas, school and health care facilities, and recreational districts.


Latest update

June 11, 2025 – Housing Infrastructure Communities Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the Whitecap Dakota Multi-Use Trails (the project) is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
