Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation Parcel E Development

A subsidiary company of Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation is proposing a commercial and residential development on the Chief Joseph Custer Reserve land within Prince Albert. The first phase of the development involves the installation of the base infrastructure and utilities, including power lines, gas lines, communication access, storm water drains, sewer, roads, curbs. The project will include the clearing of vegetation. The Kistapiskaw Property Development LP is currently working with the City of Prince Albert's development and building permit approval process.

 

Phase 2 of the project includes 3-4 separate buildings and associated parking for office, retail and residential purposes. The proposed residential units include medium density rental properties as well as mixed commercial and residential buildings.

December 11,  2025 - Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination Notice of Determination for the Kistapiskaw Property Development LP Sublease for Parcel E Development and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
