Yellow Quill First Nation Subdivision Stage 2

The Proposed Project

Construction of a minimum 40 lot residential subdivision development in Section 34-Twsp 39-Range 12-W2M to meet the immediate housing needs of the community. The subdivision will encompass approximately 30 hectares of land currently used for agricultural purposes. Infrastructure will include: roadways, water and sewer mains, fire hydrants, building services, power, gas and phone lines. Activities will include: Boreholes to determine sub-surface soil conditions, topsoil stripping, cut/fill earthwork to construct roadways and residential lots, water and sewer main installations, building service installations, topsoil replacement and landscaping, seeding.

March 28, 2023 - Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination Notice of Determination for Yellow Quill First Nation Subdivision Stage 2 (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
