Yellow Quill First Nation New Subdivision

Yellow Quill First Nation is proposing to construct a new subdivision northwest of the community core area on approximately 35 hectares of land currently used for agricultural purposes. The proposed subdivision will consist of 40 new residential lots. The project will include site preparation activities such as topsoil stripping and earthworks required for lot grading and drainage, installation of underground utilities and roadway construction.


Latest update

June 12, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments until July 12, 2024 respecting the determination.
