Construct a New Supply Building - 17 Wing, Detachment Dundurn

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. DND intends to construct a new supply building within the developed area of 17 Wing Detachment Dundurn. This project addresses a deficiency in providing supply and logistics support to the Detachment and its supported units. The footprint for the new building is approximately 1600 m2 with the surrounding 2500 m2 of the building paved.
The Work entails the following:

  1. Preparing the ground for construction of building and associated parking structures.
  2. Installation of below grade utilities.
  3. Construction of structure.
  4. Landscaping.

Latest update

June 25, 2026 - The Department of National Defence intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, the Department of National Defence is inviting public comments until July 14, 2026, respecting that determination.
