Road Paving Program, various locations, Prince Edward Island National Park

Parks Canada is proposing improvement works on roadways, parking lot and associated infrastructures within Prince Edward Island National Park: Wild Rose Lane, Dalvay Crescent, Ross Lane, Ross Lane beach access and Cavendish Grove access. The project will include reparation of pavement on paved road, new pavement on gravel road, road widening and development of new access road. The project scope also includes reparation of pavement on parking lot, parking lot extension/migration and the replacement/installation of culvert. Work will be conducted with heavy equipment from within the road and parking lot footprint.


Latest update

July 23 2026 – Parks Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Parks Canada is inviting public comments until August 22 2026 respecting that determination.
