Hiawatha Roadway and Infrastructure Upgrades

This project includes the replacement of watermain, sanitary sewer and stormwater underneath Hiawatha Avenue, Hiawatha Crt, and Mahsos Crt, complete with full road reconstruction, curb, and gutter.  Project works are occurring within an existing municipal roadway corridor that is approximately 20m or more from an existing small stream.


Latest update

August 6, 2026 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments until September 5, 2026, respecting that determination.
