Reichwald Range Upgrades - 5th Canadian Division Support Base, Gagetown

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project which consists of upgrades to the Reichwald Range at the 5th Canadian Division Support Base, Gagetown, New Brunswick. Upgrades include; firing lines, access road and gates, concrete culverts, target mound, lane markers, earth butt stop, bullet catchers, bullpen, staging area, and berms. The Project footprint is anticipated to expand slightly to include an expanded area to push snow into to keep the area clear in winter.

November 19, 2024 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
