Atikameksheng Anishnawbek On Reserve New Housing

Atikameksheng Anishnawbek First Nation is in the process of building three new residential rental units within their community. Three new lots will be cleared and three units of 1200 square feet will be constructed. The homes will be located on lots 8, 19 and 20 of the Hill Street Subdivision. 

Atikameksheng Anishnawbek has previously reviewed this project under their First Nation's Land Management Agreement, and have noted that no significant environmental effects will result from this project.

November 20, 2019 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination https://iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluations/document/133108 and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects..
