Improvements to Two Roads in Sheshagwaning First Nation

Improved and / or more reliable road asset Project is for the realignment and upgrading of approximately 3.1 kilometres of Shigniconing Road and Sheshegwaning Road, from the Sheshegwaning landfill site to the border with Zhiibaahaasing First Nation. The work includes: elimination of two very sharp curves; improvements to sightlines, drainage and the road base; and hard surfacing of the roads. Improve public safety and reduce road maintenance costs.

September 21, 2020 –  Infrastructure Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
