Sanitary Sewer Repairs - Phase 2

This project to repair the sanitary sewer system in Timiskaming consists of several components. 

- Installation of a storm-water system to carry away stormwater runoff and water from building foundation drains;

- Reconstruction of existing streets to address current issues with inadequate surface drainage in the community;

- Construction of a new storm-water outfall that will discharge into the stream on the other side of Stranger Road.

August 3, 2026 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Indigenous Services Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
