Eel River Bar - Child and Family Service Building

The project consist of the construction of a Child and Family Service single story building of approximately 12,000 sq ft which will have offices for the employees, a boardroom, community room and culture area that could be also be used for community events and a fitness room. The total project area is approximately 45,000 sq ft and will include the building and parking area.  Project activities include clearing and grubbing and the  installation of utilities and services including water and sewer lines as well as power and communication lines.

The proposed project site is in the process of being added to reserve.

January 19, 2024 - Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. Please note that the proposed project site has since been added to reserve.
