Lake St. Martin - Water Treatment Plant Zebra Mussels Control

This stage of the project is design only for the construction of a chemical storage building and installation of a chemical feed pipe along the existing raw water intake pipe, to the end of pipe, for release of Chlorine Dioxide for zebra mussel control in the water intake pipe. Details on the pipe installation process will be determined during the construction phase.


Latest update

June 19, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canad is inviting public comments until July 19, 2024, respecting that determination.
