East Trails Project - East Gate

This project is to establish a multiuse trail from the East Gate National Historic Site to the Birches Day Use Area. The trail will be 510 m total length, 1.5 m width, surface-hardened Type 2 including a bridge over a small creek. This project will complement the recent revitalization work completed at the site and represents the first step towards establishing the East Gate as a hub for recreation in the area.
