Addition of a line of floating pontoons and riprap to breakwater 301 at Grosse-Île harbour, Magdalen Islands

The project includes work on the current breakwater to allow the anchoring of floating pontoons at the inner end of breakwater 301. The work also includes raising the current riprap of the breakwater to allow better protection of users in this new sector of the harbor with pontoons.

October 30, 2023 - Transport Canada (TC) and Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Small Craft Harbors (DFO-SCH) intend to determine whether the completion of this project is likely to result in significant adverse environmental effects.
