Sanitary Sewer Repairs - Phase 2

This project to repair the sanitary sewer system in Timiskaming consists of several components. 

- Installation of a storm-water system to carry away stormwater runoff and water from building foundation drains;

- Reconstruction of existing streets to address current issues with inadequate surface drainage in the community;

- Construction of a new storm-water outfall that will discharge into the stream on the other side of Stranger Road.

August 12, 2026 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project "Sanitary Sewer Repairs – Phase 2" is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
