Women's Lodge & Cultural Safe Space

Iskatewizaagegan Independent First Nation will construct a Women's Lodge for women, girls, and 2SLGBTQQIA+ to promote Indigenous cultures and identities. Located adjacent to the community centre, the Women's Lodge will be approximately 4,250 sq. ft.

June 28, 2023 – Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
