Main Beach Armour Stone

The project consists of placing ~1350 m3 of armour stone to build up the seawall on the main beach in the Town of Old Perlican, NL. The project aims to keep the beach from flooding the main road that provides access to the fish plants.

November 29, 2023 - The public comment period on the project is closed. Infrastructure Canada and Fisheries and Oceans Canada are considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
