Material Lay-down Area

DFO, Canadian Coast Guard is proposing to complete a material laydown area project in St. John's,NL . The proposed project will see the clearing of a 60m x 90m area. Overburden will be removed and area levelled with rock and gravel. Area will be used for temporary storage of navigational towers and building materials. Stone required for the project will be obtained from an approved quarry and trucked to the site. Heavy equipment consisting primarily of excavators and dump trucks will be utilized to complete the project.
