Trans Mountain Pipeline ULC KP404 Integrity Dig

Trans Mountain Pipeline ULC is planning to complete an integrity dig to assess an anomaly located at KP404.221 on the TMPL 24"pipeline, within Jasper National Park. The scope of work includes access, excavation to expose a short section of pipe, and non-destructive examination. If required, a repair or cut-out will be completed. Following repair, the pipe will be re-coated, and the digsite backfilled with salvaged materials and reclaimed. The proposed dig site footprint will measure approximately 30m in length and 18m width and will remain within the previously disturbed footprint and pipeline Right-of-Way. Work is proposed to occur in winter to facilitate minimal disturbance access through wetland areas and to reduce potential impacts to wildlife.
