TELUS Cell Tower Cable Upgrade

Eng. Network 2786021 VERN Mobility Site 2032 1100 Mission Rd

TELUS has an existing lead that extends from Commonage Rd, straight up the hill to the existing Cell Tower located at the top of the hill overlooking the Vernon Military Camp. TELUS would like to lash a new Fiber Optic cable to the existing Copper cables connecting Commonage Road to the Cell tower. Over the last few decades the existing lead has been overgrown by the local foliage and the lead is now not accessible. TELUS would like to brush away the new growth exposing the existing lead and lash the new cable to said lead. At the bottom of the hill, BC Hydro has renewed one pole as the old one is rotten, TELUS would like to transfer the existing lead to the new pole and remove the old pole from disposal.
