City of Kawartha Lakes, Shoreline Protection, McDonnel Park, Lindsey, Ontario

Existing gabion baskets located adjacent to an existing riverside pedestrian walkway have failed. The proposed work is the replacement of some of the baskets (install baskets and hand fill) and installation of 1.5m of riprap on the bed along a 100+ m section to protect new and existing baskets. Approximately 152m² of shoreline is affected.
