Port of Oshawa Shore Power and Security Upgrades

The Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority is proposing to upgrade security features and its shore power offering on the west wharf.  The security features include new lighting and cameras, while the shore power offering will allow additional vessels to connect to the electrical grid while at berth.  New underground hydro and telecommunication lines will be installed to service the new equipment. 


Latest update

April 20, 2022 - The Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
