Port of Oshawa - Relocation of Floating Dock

The Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority (HOPA) is proposing to relocate an existing floating dock used by a local marine rescue unit and youth learn to sail program.  The floating dock is currently tied to the west dock wall but requires relocation as the port reorganizes to make efficient use of limited space.  The floating dock will be moved to the end of an existing access road approximately 320 m northeast of is current location. A vehicle turning lot will be constructed at the end of the existing access road and a concrete ramp will be placed to provide pedestrian access from the shore to the floating dock.  The floating dock will be tied off to concrete blocks.
