New Fibre Installation

New Fibre Installation

Bell Canada plans to install underground fiber optic cabling, for Internet purposes, to all residential homes in the Rideau Migratory Bird Sanctuary. The project involves the installation of approximately 3.59 km of underground fiber optic cable from Corkstown Road, west of Read St to Corktown Lane, and from Rideau River Blvd, east of Boat Launch Rd to Hwy 43.

The cable is to be buried by directional drilling, trenching, or using existing conduits, or a combination of these methods in existing roadway alignments.
