Madbin Jina Picnic Shelter Replacement and Gate Installation

The picnic shelter at Madbin Jina day-use area is at the end of its life cycle. Over several months, Parks Canada and Caldwell First Nation staff and contractors will demolish, replace, expand, upgrade, and maintain the picnic shelter and install a gate. The project is part of the Indigenous Guardian Initiative, which will provide the opportunity to create and construct a custom sheltered space for First Nations to gather, share, and carry out ceremonial, cultural, and community events, as well as for park visitors to enjoy.
