Vegetation Maintenance at Point Pelee National Park

This impact assessment will address the standard vegetation maintenance activities at Point Pelee National Park. The vegetation maintenance activities are required to: ensure the safety for those sharing the park's roads, trails, and other areas; uphold the park's quality visitor experience spaces; and present and protect Point Pelee's valuable assets and resources. The habitats adjacent to these areas have conditions suitable for species at risk, migratory breeding birds, and other wildlife to thrive in. The effects and mitigations for vegetation maintenance practices at Point Pelee are well understood since the activities are repeated annually. Therefore, a Basic Impact Assessment will be applied to this project.
